A night to remember — Electric Picnic
It was an amazing show, and we're so proud to have been a part of it. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Climate Actions Now and our artists under Africa Under Irish Skies at the Electric Picnic!
CAN Music presented Africa Under Irish Skies at Ennistymon a week before Electric Picnic. Featuring music and dance, CAN presented outstanding events September 2–4, 2022 — Irish and African artists performing under Climate Actions Now's very own music tent.
Electric Picnic is the largest (70,000 visitors) and most prestigious annual Irish festival with many stages and productions. Within this framework, CAN has developed a new stage and production called "Africa Under Irish Skies" — a fusion of many African, Irish and British musicians producing their own sounds, songs and beats.
This exciting initiative comes with the welcome support of Clare Arts Presents Local Live Performance Scheme 2022, which is funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

What to expect
An epic collaboration
CAN is calling on all musicians and music fans to join us in our mission to raise awareness of the climate emergency. We're inviting you to take part in an epic collaboration between African and Irish artists.
The Clare Arts Office is delighted to support this important initiative as part of the Live Local Performance Scheme, as it represents an innovative way for musicians to engage with climate change issues, with international artists bringing an important global perspective to the work.
