Who We Are

Climate Actions Now is a grassroot climate change initiative. It was founded in 2019 to raise awareness on climate change issues within the African continent. The organisation's main objectives are climate change resilience, adaptation, awareness and education, research into climate change impacts, climate actions initiatives and projects as well as encouraging youth actions on climate change through it's projects such as tree planting and introduction of renewable energy sources in schools.

Our mission is to initiate, support and implement climate actions now to across vulnerable communities to build climate change resilience and increase climate change adaptability. To achieve this, climate actions now has the following objectives:

• To provide capacity building and technical assistance for partners working in adaptation, impact reduction and resilient development initiatives;
• To initiate, support and implement Climate Actions Now to across vulnerable communities to build climate change resilience and increase climate change adaptability;
• To enhance information sharing on adaptation and mitigation practices through multi-media publications and knowledge/communication products.

All of us have a stake in reducing the risks associated with climate change. Climate change resilience is our ability to prepare for and withstand harm from climate change. It's our capacity to absorb, adapt to, and recover from climate change impacts.
