What is Music for the Planet? +
The 2026 edition of CAN's global songwriting competition (formerly "Songs For Our Climate"). We promote any good song concerning climate action or climate change — how you feel, what you protest, what you hope for. Full artistic and creative freedom; a universal message that can move all ages, nationalities and cultures is welcome.
Who can take part? +
Anyone under 35, anywhere in the world. Entry is free.
What can I win? +
A publishing deal advance plus global promotion through the CAN network — professional production support for selected works, exposure across CAN and partner platforms, and invitations to perform at CAN events broadcast internationally.
How do I take part? +
Two easy steps: make a song for climate action, and submit it to info@climateactionsnow.org with the subject "Music for the Planet 2026".
Who judges? +
A panel of music industry judges selects the winners that CANMusic will offer publishing deals.
What format? +
A track, a live video, or a clip of your song — all formats accepted, as long as it is your original music.
