What we do
CAN creates and imports media and content that highlights the experiences and stories of Climate Activists and organisations to advocate for positive climate actions. We achieve this through monthly conferences, community events, music summits, webinars, educational programmes in schools and much more.

David Bristow grew up in the veld north of Johannesburg. He has an honours degree in Journalism from Rhodes University, as well as a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences from Cape Town University. After studying he spent a year working as a ranger and camp manager in the Okavango Delta.
Rosley established her business as her own response to climate change realities and her sense of urgency to make the world realise that indeed 'We OWE our planet its preservation for future generations.'

Nadia Sitas works in the Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services research group at the CSIR, South Africa, specialising in transdisciplinary research in the science-policy-practice interface — exploring nature-society relationships and the role of power in mediating access, rights and use of natural resources.
The theme for this summit: create awareness around climate change, while demonstrating examples of what we can all do to reduce our emission footprint.
Roundtables
Climate Actions Now hosts monthly Roundtable meetings with sustainable partnerships across our regions. Our roundtables are a great place to meet like-minded individuals, discuss and share ideas about climate actions, as we dialogue about solutions to mitigate our existential crisis.

A panel of speakers from different backgrounds and fields of expertise present their initiatives and solutions to an audience of both young and old — all united by the call to action: to act NOW.
