Our Mission
CANmusic — music that connects the world
Our mission is to create, inspire and connect the world through music and cultural heritage. Music is the healer of the soul; it brings people together, builds connections and bridges gaps in understanding. From the outset, our ethos has been simple: harnessing the power of music to create pathways that bring diverse communities together.
CANmusic is an international initiative that supports musicians in under-resourced countries with the tools and training they need to put their talents on display.
Our purpose is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power through a variety of videos.
To date, we have produced exemplar videos, recorded music across 3 continents, and touched the hearts of vulnerable communities through our music videos and programs. We've done all this with your support.
